I believe the best product leaders aren't specialists in one thing — they're fluent across the full product lifecycle. That's what lets me walk into any situation, understand what's broken, and know what to do about it.
I've planned roadmaps and built business cases. I've run discovery workshops and mapped customer journeys. I've managed backlogs, shipped releases, and stood up CI/CD pipelines. I've designed operating models, written playbooks, and facilitated the rituals that keep cross-functional teams aligned. I've coached PMs at every level and designed training programs from scratch.
That range matters because leadership isn't just setting direction — it's being credible enough to help people at every stage of the work. When I mentor a junior PM on problem framing, I'm drawing on years of doing it myself. When I coach a team through a messy organizational change, I know what the transformation roadmap looks like because I've built them.
